We do check the forum periodically. The answer to your question is not one that I am prepared to answer in full on this forum page however I will give you a short answer. You are partially correct. We will not be maintaining certain portions of the Dayton trail system this season. We have looked at our overall trail system and expenses to maintain the trails and we have had to make some adjustments. I will be publishing a full explanation on our web page this week with all details.
Please come to our next meeting if you have any concerns or to volunteer for trail work before the snow falls. We will not get into any arguments on this forum site and do not allow foul language. We welcome constructive criticism, suggestions and the occasional good job guys!!
I hope this answers some of your concerns and look forward to seeing at the next meeting.

Sorry it took so long to respond.Anyone having concerns about this can go to www.maine.gov/lor ,on the right side of this page is a link to a broshure entidled land owner liability law, this should answer any questions you might have.If further assistance is required you can speak to someone directley by calling 207-287-8091.
