why are post being deleted? I ask a simple question now its gone? I really hope its a forum error not someone being a editor allowing only what he wants on. maybe this is the problem with this club? one person making all the decisions?
I'm not sure who you are or if you are even a member, but I am almost certain that you have not been to any of our meetings. I say this because if you have been to our meeting you would know that this club is not run by one person, it is run by a group of good people that work hard to make the club what it is. The decision on not maintaining the section of trail in daton was made by a majority vote by the club members at the monthly meetings, and was a tough decision but was made by "US". I am proud to be part of this club and I understand that some were hurt by the decision to not maintain the trail but it was not made to spite anyone, it was made because at this time it is not in the clubs best interest to maintain this trail (as voted on by the members). Who knows what will happen later down the road with this trail, but for now the decision has been made. So lets put all this behind us, be positive and move forward.
Thats a bunch of bs. it was a couple of board members that wanted it shut down. the members never got to vote on this issue!! Guess you are the one that never was there. Ask the people that were there, they were told, not asked to vote on it!
We (the LYMAN snowmobile club)would be more than willing to discus this issue with anyone that may have questions at our next meeting on Feb.2,2012 7:00 p.m. at the Lyman library. We do not feel this forum is the place to do so,we also do not wish to argue about it. Thanks Rick. We have also looked into Any delited posts that may have recently occured.Their are 2 people that have that ability,i am not one,one was out of town for the weekend with no internet acess the other hasnt loged onto the site in months.Sparklit, the company we have the forum through is looking into possible errors on their end but says its not likely.
We all agree that they are very important and we didnt want to discontinue any part of our efforts in the town of Dayton but we have been reaching out to our members for the past 3 seasons for help in that section of town and only having one person to dedicate to it wasnt enough. There is too much to do out there for one person. That coupled with the cost of maintaining equipment and bridges forced the club as a whole to make a desicion. We had hoped to possibly pic it up again in the near future but with the amount of negativity this has developed i'm not sure we will be able to.Posative support and involvment with the club is always welcome. Rick
Its REALLY funny now, when the trail was open no one cared, no one spoke, all summer long,,,, pres vice pres and trail master didnt not allow my efforts to evolve,, the world was not built in a day, WE as a club never had a choice,, ask chick he'll tell you........with that being said, when you me him and the other guy want to have a private meeting witch should not be to hard, I'll see about getting my trails open.... sorry for any bs DAYTON has caused anyone, but please stay on the trails YOU KNOW as A rider , the snow is not deep the fields are a paycheck for the farmers you just piled up cause you had to gas it.......
I do think people will step up to help. To bad people are negative that not going to help. How many people you need to do the part of Dayton that needs to be done? Is there eqipment still around to groom?
